HTYD-600 Kinematic Viscosity Tester is applicable to standards such as GB265 “Determination of Kinematic Viscosity of Petroleum Products”. At a constant temperature, it measures the time it takes for a certain volume of liquid to flow through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer under gravity. The product of the capillary constant of the viscometer and the flow time is the kinematic viscosity of the measured liquid at that temperature.
This instrument uses a digital temperature controller to control the temperature, with digital temperature display, high temperature control accuracy, digital stopwatch timing, and uniform temperature in the thermostatic bath. It can hold four viscometers for experiments at the same time and can also be used as a high-viscosity thermostatic water bath for other experiments.
