This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T7598-2008 “Test Method for Water-Soluble Acids in Insulating Oils and Turbine Oils in Service (Colorimetric Method)”. It is specially used for the determination of water-soluble acids (pH) in petroleum products such as transformer oil, turbine oil, and fire-resistant oil.

The instrument features a high degree of automation. After injecting the oil sample and water in accordance with the standard regulations, the instrument will strictly perform heating, oscillation, oil-water separation, extraction of duplicate water samples, addition of two indicators (bromocresol green and bromocresol purple) respectively, color development, colorimetric determination, display and print the test results in the sequence specified by the standard. It can process and sequentially complete the detection of 3 samples (3-cup type) or 6 samples (6-cup type) at one time.
