This instrument is suitable for determining the ash content of petroleum products and adopts the national standard “GB/T508 Test Method for Ash Content of Petroleum Products”. Use ashless filter paper as the ignition wick, ignite the sample placed in an appropriate container, burn it until only carbon remains, then heat the carbonaceous residue in a high-temperature furnace at 775°C to convert it into ash, and then cool and weigh it.
The instrument is mainly composed of a high-temperature furnace, a temperature controller, a porcelain crucible, quantitative filter paper (selected by the user), large iron tongs, etc. The temperature controller can measure, display and control the temperature in the electric furnace, so that the temperature in the furnace can automatically maintain a constant temperature. The controller uses a pointer display and is equipped with an ammeter, which is convenient and intuitive to use. The resistance furnace is a heating resistor, and the maximum temperature in the furnace is from room temperature to 1000°C.
