This instrument is manufactured in accordance with the method stipulated in the national standard GB/T261-2008 “Determination of Flash Point of Petroleum Products (Closed Cup Method)”. It measures the lowest temperature of the test oil (i.e., the flash point of the petroleum product sample) when the petroleum product sample is heated in a closed oil cup and the mixed gas formed by the test oil vapor and the surrounding air comes into contact with a flame and flashes.
