Under specified conditions, when the oil is heated and its temperature reaches a certain level, the mixture of the oil’s vapor and the surrounding air will flash when it comes into contact with a flame. The lowest flash temperature is called the flash point value of the oil.
The HTBK-800 fully automatic open flash point and fire point tester is manufactured in accordance with the standard methods of GB267 “Determination of Flash Point and Fire Point of Petroleum Products (Open Cup Method)” and GB3536 “Determination of Flash Point and Fire Point of Petroleum Products (Cleveland Open Cup Method)”. It is an ideal instrument for open flash point testing in departments such as petroleum, chemical engineering, power, environmental protection, railways, and scientific research.
